Strike action by cabin crew unions : traffic forecast for Wednesday 27 July 2016
· Air France expects to operate more than 87% of its flights:

· 92% of its long-haul flights
· 90% of its domestic flights
· More than 80% of its medium-haul flights to and from Paris-CDG

· 37% of cabin crew are striking
· Air France teams are mobilized to assist customers

Following the call for strike action which has been confirmed by Air France cabin crew unions for the period from 27 July to 2 August 2016, the schedule of flights operated by Air France aircraft will be disrupted as from Wednesday 27 July 2016.

Air France regrets this situation and is making every effort to minimize the inconvenience this strike action may cause to its customers.

Traffic forecast for Wednesday 27 July 2016

On Wednesday 27 July 2016, Air France expects to operate 92% of its long-haul flights, 90% of its domestic and more than 80% of its medium-haul flights to and from Paris-CDG, considering that 37% of cabin crew are expected to take strike action on Wednesday.

However, there may be last-minute cancellations and delays. Difficulties with crew compositions may also limit the number of passengers per flight.

For the following days, depending on the estimated number of cabin crew taking strike action, the flight schedule will be adapted and published the day before, and customers will be informed accordingly.

Please note that Air France flights operated by aircraft from another airline, including HOP!, KLM and Delta, are not affected by this strike action.

In case of a cancellation or delay, Air France offers the AF Connect service to directly inform customers on their mobile phone, smartphone or by email using their personal contact details provided to the airline. In order to be personally notified by AF Connect, Air France invites customers to update their personal contact details (mobile phone and /or email address) in their reservation file on the airline’s website. The free AF Connect service is available in 13 languages for all passengers worldwide.

Customers are recommended to check their flight status, available in real time on the website airfrance.it, before going to the airport.

How to postpone your trip

Air France is offering its customers who are booked on a flight between 27 July and 2 August the possibility of changing their trip whether their flight is cancelled or not.
For customers whose flight is cancelled, their ticket will be fully refunded.

7,300 Air France employees are mobilized to assist customers

Air France teams are doing all they can to minimize the impact of this strike action on customers and are at their disposal to inform and assist them.

Since yesterday morning, about 80,000 texts and messages have been sent to individually inform customers in real time.
