WIZZ AIR GROWS PASSENGER NUMBERS BY 26% LOAD FACTOR INCREASES 1.3 PPTS TO 92.9%
#WizzAir Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for September 2017.
In September 2017, Wizz Air continued to expand its network, operations and customer offering with the following announcements:
- Route network expansion with seven new routes announced to/from Poland (5x), Hungary (1x), and Bulgaria (1x).
- Addition of the 143 destination to the Wizz Air network with Tromso, Norway.
- Delivery of a brand new Airbus A321ceo aircraft, taking the fleet number to a total of 86.
- The introduction of a new ancillary product giving further flexibility to customers who can now book up to 10 tickets and name their travel partner(s) later at the time of check-in.
