·         Hundreds of Austrian Airlines employees at work over Christmas and New Year’s Eve

·         Pilots, flight attendants as well as station, technical, flight operations control center or customer service employees are on duty

Most people prefer to spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve at home together with their families and friends. Many Austrian Airlines employees are also working over the holidays, in the air and on the ground, to make sure that these wishes come true for as many people as possible. The staff on duty include about 1,000 pilots and flight attendants, 250 station employees and 200 technicians per day. Other departments are also at work over the holidays, including teams at the Austrian Airlines flight operations control center or in customer service.
