Billion Air (Olbia) is an Italian premium start-up backed by local businessman, Flavio Briatore, of Formula 1 fame.

Announcing a July 24 launch date via social media, Briatore said the carrier would operate B737 aircraft configured with only 52 seats. Initial network plans include triple-daily flights from both Milan and Rome to Olbia on the island of Sardinia.
