AIANTA: Explore Southwestern Tribal Culture at AITC

Mobile Workshops
When attendees gather for the nation’s only conference on tribal tourism, they will also have the opportunity to explore some of the Southwest’s most notable tribal tourism destinations.
Join the Poeh Cultural Center in an exploration of the Puye Cliff Dwellings, a National Historic Landmark and home to the ancestors of today’s Santa Clara Pueblo people.
Or stop by the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in tandem with a visit to the Pueblo of Acoma, the oldest continuously inhabited community in the United States.
Finally, the Navajo Nation beckons with a visit to some of its most popular tourism sites.

Charity Golf Tournament

Join us Sunday, September 16 at the Isleta Eagle Golf Course, located on the Isleta Pueblo Reservation in New Mexico for our Charity Golf Tournament. All proceeds will be donated to AIANTA’s educational, technical assistance, outreach & scholarship programs.


Native Arts Show

AIANTA has invited more than two dozen artists to display and sell their works to the general public during AITC. The Native Art Show will be open to the general public Tuesday, September 18 and Wednesday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Regalia Day

All AITC delegates, speakers and volunteers are encouraged to wear traditional regalia and contemporary Native fashion on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Help us share the diversity of the distinctive Native cultures throughout the country. Photo opportunities will occur throughout the day.

AIANTA honors the best of the Indian Country travel and tourism industry during its 7th Annual Silent Auction and Awards Ceremony.
All auction proceeds go to the AIANTA Scholarship Fund for students taking tourism, hospitality, recreation or related industry courses.
