A maggio hanno volato con SAS più di 400.000 passeggeri, con un incremento di circa il 20% rispetto ad aprile. Durante il mese, SAS ha aumentato la capacità del 9% per soddisfare la domanda più elevata. Il numero di passeggeri rimane basso rispetto a un anno normale, ma l’aumento rispetto ad aprile si riflette anche in un miglioramento del load factor, cresciuto di quasi 6 punti percentuali.
“Attendiamo con impazienza l’estate e siamo soddisfatti del graduale aumento della domanda. Per ridurre l’incertezza durante la prenotazione dei voli, SAS offre regole sui biglietti più flessibili e generose alternative di riprenotazione. Per facilitare i passeggeri, stiamo anche lanciando SAS Travel Ready Center, uno strumento digitale per caricare i documenti di viaggio necessari e per accedere alle informazioni sulle attuali restrizioni di viaggio”, afferma Karl Sandlund, CEO ad interim di SAS.
